Congratulations to Church member Jim Davis who has been made an MBE in the new year honours for his services to children and young people. Jim has been a youth leader in the church over many years and has championed the needs of marginalised children and young people. Well done Jim!

St Philip's Carol Bus spreads the Gospel |
St Philip's Carol bus has now covered around three-quarters of our parish and spent four hours outside of Sainsburys supermarket. Nearly 2,000 gospels have been distributed and the reception has been excellent with people very grateful that the church is reaching out to them. See more on St Philip's Facebook page.

Garden Bazaar hits the mark |
Our Garden Bazaar was a great community event with its home made fares, stalls, cakes, great lunches, a coffee bar and loads of fun! The money raised will go towards a new climbing activity aiming to involve more of the young people from around the church. Organiser, Sandra Bain, said "It was an excellent time, with lots of people helping, a constant visitor flow and raising much more than we could have hoped for!" Thanks everyone!
